Lyft is an American ridesharing company based in San Francisco, California. It was founded in 2012 by Logan Green and John Zimmer with a strong mission to improve people’s lives with the world’s best transportation. Lyft is available to approximately 95 percent of the United States population as well as select cities in Canada.
Lyft develops and operates the Lyft mobile app, offering car rides, scooters, a bicycle-sharing system, and a food delivery service. Our products don’t just facilitate online interactions, they facilitate dynamic, real-world ones. These interactions range from finding the closest scooter, to being late and trying to choose between a train or a bike, to navigating through a congested city safely and swiftly, to a shared ride involving picking up two different passengers. We make all these and many more real world interactions between people and transport happen.
Lyft acquired the Juno team at the end of 2019 and became the first US public product unicorn that opened the R&D in Belarus. Lyft Minsk is focused on developing a platform that powers Lyft ridesharing product with place search, routing and navigation. In our daily work Lyft Minsk uses a unique Silicon Valley approach to engineering. We foster the environment where teams' creativity and autonomy is encouraged, transparency and cross-functional collaboration is highly welcomed.
An important part of Lyft culture is treating our team members well with excellent benefits and some pretty cute office dogs.
This is the unique opportunity to join our team and work together with the best engineers from Minsk and the US on very complex and inspiring challenges.
